Wedding Guitarist Sussex

Romantic guitarist with bespoke arrangements for your wedding

Long before the big day I’m happy to have plenty of communication via phone, email or meet up for a chat to make sure that everything is prepared regarding repertoire, timings, dress code etc.

Current set lists and a general guide for the wedding ceremony are detailed below, if you have any questions feel free to email or call me on the numbers shown on top of this page.

Ceremony Guide

For a Wedding / Civil Ceremony I arrive early, find the perfect spot to set up, have a chat with the Registrar and warm up.

As the first guests arrive I begin to play, not too loud, catering my pieces to suit the age groups and general ambience.

When the congregation is asked to stand for the entrance of the Bridal Party, I begin the piece for the walking down the aisle. Sometimes it’s the classic Bridal March, more often it’s a song I have arranged specifically for the occasion.

After the vows, readings / hymns etc it’s time for the signing of the register. This can take up to 10 minutes including photos at the end so 2-3 songs / pieces are ideal.

After photographs and the certificate is handed over it is time for the exit of the happy couple, this can be instrumental or with vocal, usually something celebratory & upbeat.

I keep playing until the last guest has left, then usually it’s on to the drinks reception, hopefully outside in glorious sunshine.

With my battery powered system I can set up & play anywhere and still be heard. Sometimes I’m asked to keep it instrumental, sometimes acoustic and vocal or a mix of both.

I can play from a specific list of songs / pieces, or play whatever comes to mind to suit the atmosphere.
